Last evening I had the pleasure of photographing the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Students of the Year Event for the Northern Ohio Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  This was the final event celebrating the accomplishments of the Students.  The Student of the Year is described as:

Student of the Year is a new initiative where High School students interested in philanthropy, volunteerism, and leadership can give back to the community in an impactful way. Nominated High School students (public or private school) participate in a fundraising competition to raise funds for the LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The campaign offers students an avenue to earn community service hours, strengthen college applications and resumes, gain recognition in the community, and to make a real difference on the future of blood cancer research.

You can see a slideshow of my photos below and you can also check out the photos in the gallery.
